As a Custodian, you’ll put your friendly, willing attitude to work to keep the apartments, grounds and common areas of our Heinz Lofts apartment community looking its best.

 

Our Custodians have the important job of creating the first impression for new prospects and keeping our current residents happy by maintaining the overall cleanliness of our Leasing Office, common areas, community’s grounds, including pools, laundry facilities and plant beds, to maximize our curb appeal and our customers’ and residents’ perception of our community. Additionally, you will also help to prepare our vacant apartments for new residents.

This is a busy and physical job. It's good for strong, healthy energetic individuals who take pride in their work. Weekends are required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare leasing office, lobby, and common areas for opening of business.

• Empty all trash receptacles.

• Vacuum all office and common areas.

• Clean all glass windows/doors.

• Wipe down desks and countertops.

• Clean elevators and elevator lobby.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and hallways throughout the day.

• Special attention to be paid to floor conditions in adverse weather (i.e. maintaining that floors remain dry and free of trip/fall hazards.

• Complete general housekeeping of unoccupied and guest suite apartments.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Desired Work Experience

• 2+ years of housekeeping and grounds keeping experience
